VARO Benelux has moved, to a beautiful office in the World Port Center at the Wilhelminakade 919 in Rotterdam. Which we are very proud of. That's why we are organizing a VARO Benelux family open day on Saturday, July 1st. This is an excellent opportunity to show your loved ones your new workplace.

Lots to see and do
On the 8th & 9th floor you will find the ideal working environment for a dynamic company in the energy sector. With a spectacular view over a unique part of Rotterdam. But on July 1st, there will be a lot more to see and do. For young and old.

The program of the day

During the open day, you can meet the partners and family members of colleagues, have coffee, enjoy a culinary bite and a nice drink. For the children, we will set up a special kids laboratory. Here they can enjoy a thrilling energy show and experience the power of static electricity. They will become energy experts themselves by participating in exciting experiments that will literally make their hair fly up. Follow a scavenger hunt throughout the building, and visit the VARO cinema.

As a nice souvenir of a special day, you can also have a family portrait taken in the photo studio.

Walking Tour – Experience Rotterdam

As an extra highlight of the open day, you can also participate in the ‘Experience Rotterdam’ walking tour in the area. This is a unique city tour with a local guide who shares all kinds of personal stories, interesting facts & figures, hotspots, and sights with the guests. During the tour, you will participate in 'The Great Rotterdam Knowledge Quiz!' and the winner will receive a typical Rotterdam prize! Truly the most fun way to discover and experience the city. At the end of the tour, a local hero will recite an ode to Rotterdam in a surprising location. A lot of fun!

There are two time slots on Saturday, July 1st. Please let us know via the form below in what timeslot you will come, whether you will participate in the ‘Experience Rotterdam’ walking tour and how many family members you will bring along (maximum 5 per person). You can register until Friday, June 9th.

Location

The event venue is easily accessible by both car and public transport. Ample parking facilities will be available that day. Parking costs will be reimbursed.
